Junior Engineer for Tools and Validation team of R&D

POSITION OVERVIEW

 The intern will be part of the Tools and Validation team of our Embedded R&D department based in Aix-en-Provence. He will have to develop tools in the aim of:

1. Connecting Commercial Test Suites and our (e)SIM OS This will manage the establishment of SCP02/03 Secure Channel Session. These protocol are defined in GlobalPlatform and use Symmetric Cryptography (DES/AES).
2. Updating Java class files’ interpreter and converter. These tools translate Java class files into a native representation which is embedded as static data in our (e)SIM OS HeliOS. the current tool does not support latest Java class file structure preventing us to use the latest Java

This will help to deliver best-in-class (e)SIM to our customers. The intern will be working closely with Oasis technical teams (development, architecture, validation). The intern should be open to suggestions and should be willing to learn new things.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Development and implementation of Java tools related to (e)SIM

• Must be able to approach/understand complex software and/or problems/bugs
• Good team player willing to learn fast and adapt to the demanding situations

YOUR PROFILE

• Languages: Java, XML, Symmetric Cryptography
• Source Management and Continuous Integration: GIT (GITLab)

• Must work well as a part of a team

• Must demonstrate problem-solving capabilities, proactive,
• English: full professional skills as the engineer will work in an international environment

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATION

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer sciences, programming science or similar
• Experience: Minimum experience with software
